Kyrgyz Economy Ministry suggests to impose travel ban on top managers and chief accountants of companies with debts to budget

AKIPRESS.COM - The Economy Ministry came up with the draft amendments to the Tax Code proposing to impose travel ban on owners, top managers and chief accountants of companies that failed to pay off their debts to the state budget.
The bill is aimed at reducing taxes, insurance premiums and non-tax payments, increasing budget revenues by enforcing debt collection from persons evading taxes and insurance premiums, reducing the number of defaulters and collecting additional assessed taxes and insurance contributions during tax audits.
The bill also proposes to increase cooperation between the tax authorities and the state bodies controlling foreign migration and border protection.
