15 people in intensive care unit after explosion at arms depot in Arys city

AKIPRESS.COM - Fifteen people that were hospitalized after fire in a military warehouse in southern Kazakhstan are in the intensive care unit, Minister of Health of Kazakhstan Elzhan Birtanov told reporters, Sputnik Kazakhstan said. According to him, all measures were taken for rendering medical aid to residents.
Some 165 people were affected by explosion. 89 of them were hospitalized, 76 released home for out-patient treatment, the Minister said.
Death toll after blasts reached 2 people. Residents were evacuated to safe places, officials say.
