AKIPRESS.COM - More than 200,000 families will receive targeted social support in Kazakhstan, while more than 18,000 families were denied this assistance, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Berdibek Saparbayev said on Monday.
"277 thousand families in Kazakhstan will get targeted social support. These are 1 million 339 thousand people, including 920 thousand children. Commissions are working everywhere and based on the decisions of local commissions, about 18,500 familied were denied help due to unreliable certification of documents," he noted.
The targeted social support in the amount of 67.7 billion tenge ($179 million) was paid to the nation from the beginning of the year. The average payment amounted to 105,000 tenge ($278), the Minister said.
There are about 237,000 mothers with many children (6 and more children) in Kazakhstan, who receive about 45 billion tenge ($119 billion) annually.
