Uzbekistan, Russia sign MoU on biosafety

AKIPRESS.COM - Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev and his Uzbek counterpart Victor Mahmudov signed a memorandum of understanding on biosafety between the security councils of the two nations.
During their meeting in Ufa, the Secretaries of the Security Council of Russia and Uzbekistan noted the necessity of joint and coordinated actions to prevent risks and threats as biosafety is of a trans-border nature, spokesperson of the Russian Security Council Evgeniy Anoshin said.
The signing took place on the sidelines of the international meeting of heads of security bodies in Ufa.
