AKIPRESS.COM - India is ready to share its experience in telemedicine and medical tourism to boost economic cooperation, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi said at the SCO summit here in Bishkek on Friday.
Modi said India joined the SCO 2 years ago and is ready to increase its participation in the organization to expand the SCO and trust of international community.
India is intended to sign important documents today, which will help strengthen cooperation in digitalization and alternative energy sources, and tackling climate change problems. India is the 6th biggest producer of solar and renewable energy in the world, said Modi welcoming the SCO efforts to produce renewable energy.
He said India will sign conceptual documents for 2019-2020 years aimed to protect the environment.
The SCO summit is attended by President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of China Xi Jinping, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Joomart Tokayev, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The heads of observer nations are Mongolian President Khaltmaagiin Battulga, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Afghanistan Mohammed Ashraf Ghani and President of Iran Hassan Rouhani.
