Bishkek has become a center of international activities, Putin says

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov met with President of Russia Vladimir Putin, who arrived in Bishkek on June 13 for the SCO summit.
During the meeting, Jeenbekov congratulated Putin on the Russia Day marked on June 12 and said Putin is a welcome guest in Kyrgyzstan.
Putin wished successes to the organization and said not only the member states follow and are interested in the organization, but the entire world.
"In this regard, Bishkek has become a center of international activities," Putin said. "It's not an easy job to organize such a big event on the proper level. I'm confident that everything will be on the proper level. I wish you success," Putin said.
Jeenbekov thanked Russia for support and said its technical aid to Kyrgyzstan was timely and was used fully for the summit.
Ahead of the summit, Kyrgyzstan received 10 KAVZ buses, 30 Ford Focus vehicles, 20 Ford Mondeo cars, and 6 armored Merecedes cars from Russia. Upon conclusion of the SCO Summit, all vehicles will stay in the fleet of the President's and Prime Minister's General Affairs Office, Chief of the President's and Prime Minister's General Affairs Office Turdunazir Bekboev said.
