Xi: China to increase import of agricultural goods from Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and China were resilient for all these 27 years since Kyrgyzstan's obtaining its independence, said Chinese leader Xi Jinping during the meeting with President Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
He said they discussed Chinese-Kyrgyz relations and cooperation within the Belt and Road Initiative.
Xi said relations between the nations are witnessing the new historic strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation.
He said the parties agreed to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation.
China is ready to increase import of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan and welcomed further participation of Kyrgyz companies in the Expo in China.
"China will continue supporting Kyrgyzstan in its economic development and its investment projects," Xi said.
