Putin hopes Tokayev will continue developing ties with Russia

AKIPRESS.COM - Russian President Vladimir Putin in the interview to the TV channel Mir said that he hopes that new President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will continue relations with Russia.
"Moscow is looking forward to implementation of the Russian-Kazakh projects," Putin said.
According to him, the two countries have large projects.
"I have no reasons to consider that some failures will happen," the Russian leader noted.
The President reminded that Tokayev studied in Moscow and that he knows Russia well.
In this regard, Putin said he believes Tokayev will certainly follow the path of the first president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in terms of cooperation with Russia.
President Tokayev while talking to a press conference in Akorda declared that he will strengthen cooperation with Russia.
