Kyrgyzstan, China focused on water project: President

AKIPRESS.COM - Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and China paid a big attention to projects having social significance during their summit in Bishkek, said Kyrgyz leader Sooronbai Jeenbekov following his meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in Bishkek on June 13.
Taza Suu project aimed at providing population with drinking water was on focus of the talks among other important projects, he said.
Jeenbekov recalled ancient Chinese proverb "Drinking the water of a well, one should never forget who dug it."
"We will never forget the held from our fraternal neighbor," Jeenbekov added.
