Current President winning in snap elections in Kazakhstan, according to preliminary voting results

AKIPRESS.COM - The Central Election Commission has announced the preliminary voting results in the snap presidential election of June 9. 70.76% have voted for incumbent President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev.
Amirzhan Kosanov, candidate of the National Patriotic Movement, gained 16.2% of votes.
Dania Yespaeva, candidate of Ak Jol party, gained 5.2% of votes.
Toleutai Rahimbekova, candidate of Auyl party, gained 3.2% of votes.
Amangeldy Taspihov, candidate of the Federation of Trade Unions, gained 2.07% of votes.
Candidate of the Communist Party Jambyl Ahmetbekov gained 1.82% of votes.
Candidate of the National Public Association Sadybek Tugel gained 0.92% of votes.
The snap presidential election was held on June 9. The voter turnout made 77.4%.
