Lawmaker hospitalized after interrogation with police. Condition is critical, doctors say

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Zarylbek Rysaliyev was taken to hospital after interrogation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs on June 7. Rysaliyev was summoned for questioning at 10 am within the criminal probe into illegal release of crime boss Aziz Batukayev from prison. At 2 pm, during the break, Rysaliyev's felt bad and was taken to hospital.
Chief doctor of the Clinical Hospital of the President and Government Department Gulmira Baitova said his condition is critical and he is being treated in the intensive care unit.
A stroke is suspected. Rysaliyev had two strokes in 2015 and 2018. He suffers from third degree hypertension and elevated blood sugar levels, doctor said.
