AKIPRESS.COM - Governor of Chuy region Turgunaaly Abdraimov told reporters on June 6 about the situation with journalists on June 5 in Orok village, where they arrived because of the conflict.
On June 5 in Orok, Abdraimov refused to answer the journalist's questions about the conflict and said that's because he did not like the journalist's face.
On June 6, Abdraimov told reporters that he gave such remarks because the reporter asked him what time he arrived on the scene and where he has been as though she was his boss.
"I told her it's my problems. I was talking to Ala-Too 24 journalists when other journalists came up. I told her I don't like her look. Well, I really did not," Abdraimov said.
- Why did you laugh?
- I was nervous, I always laugh when I'm nervous. Was I supposed to cry or something?
- Do you regret about giving those remarks?
- No. I fought her back.
- Are you ready to apologize?
- No, I'm not. She was rude, I fought back.
- Were you drunk?
- Can someone be drunk during Eid?
Journalists offered to look at the footage to find out if the journalist was rude to him.
Abdraimov accused the journalists of being paid to make his resignation happen and left the room. Journalists chanted "shame!"
The security guards locked the room and did not allow journalists to leave for some time.
Chief of staff of the Chuy region governor's office Moldakun Abdyldayev said Abdraimov left to Orok village.
