Government pledges 2 bn soms for development of regions

AKIPRESS.COM - In 2019, government will allocate 2 billion soms for development of regions, First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said during the meeting of the organizing committee for the Year of Regional Development and Digitalization 2019.
Deputy Minister of Economy Avtandil Alybayev said the newly opened enterprises will be exempt from paying taxes on property, land, income and sales for 5-10 years to stimulate economic growth.
In order to boost income of local budgets, the local budgets will be receiving 100% of income taxes in 2019-2021 years, he said. In 2019, local budgets are already expected to get additional 2.1 billion soms.
