President Jeenbekov to take part in Forum "Clean Water for Regions"

Bishkek, May 23, 2019. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov will take part in the Forum "Clean Water for the Regions" which is to be held today, on May 23 in Bishkek, the press service of the President reported.
Head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Summa Chakrabarti, heads of ministries and agencies, local authorities, directors of municipal water supply companies and representatives of the donor community are invited to the forum.
Forum participants will discuss strategies and concrete steps to improve the water supply, sanitation and irrigation sector throughout the country.
Two agreements will be signed during the Forum between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the EBRD to improve water supply systems - the Agreement on Rehabilitation of Water Supply Systems in Myrza-Ake, Kurshab and Don-Bulak Local Governments and the Agreement on Improvement of Water Supply System in Jalal-Abad town.
The total amount of investments of the two projects exceeds EUR 15 million.
EBRD and State Agency of Architecture, Construction and Housing and Communal Services under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic are organizers of the forum.
