Japan buys white honey from Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan exports honey to over 20 countries of the world, according to Chairman of the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Security Inspectorate Kalys Jumakanov.
China is the main honey export destination for Kyrgyzstan: 376 tons of honey were exported last year, which is 90% of all honey exports.
Honey also shipped to the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia.
Japan buys white honey from Kyrgyzstan, he said.
In 2018, 38 more Kyrgyz companies-exporters were included in the list of the Eurasian Economic Commission eligible to export goods within the union's territory. The total number of companies today is 74.
2,500 tons of meat, 22,000 tons of dairy goods were exported by Kyrgyzstan in 2018 to the EAEU and beyond.
"We started exporting dairy products to Uzbekistan. We also export wool, skins," he said.
