Lukoil to invest $2 billion in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Russia's Lukoil plans to invest around $2 billion in development of current projects, company president Vagit Alekperov said at the field meeting of the Bord of Directors in Bukhara. Investments will be primarily directed for prevention of production decrease at the Gissar field and Kandym group of fields.
Lukoil reportedly invested $8 billion in its projects in Uzbekistan for 15 years.
The company plans to produce 18 billion cbm of gas in Uzbekistan by 2020.
