Prosecutor General’s Office receives statement from SDPK of Almazbek Atambayev

Prosecutor General's Office of Kyrgyzstan received a statement from SDPK, chaired by Almazbek Atambayev. The supervisory body informed 24.kg news agency.
It clarifies that the statement on behalf of Almazbek Atambayev against the actions of the Minister of Justice was received on April 18.
The main supervisory body has 24 hours to register the statement of the ex-president in the Single Register of Crimes and Offences.
Recall, the Ministry of Justice has changed the name of the SDPK party leader in the electronic database of legal entities. Sagynbek Abdrakhmanov is registered as a leader of SDPK now.
The ministry explained its actions by saying that they were only notified of the change of the head, the composition of the Political Council and the location of SDPK political party by Sagynbek Abdrakhmanov.
SDPK chaired by Almazbek Atambayev considers the changes made in the database as illegal and demands to register the violation in the Single Register of Crimes and Offences and officially announce the start of pre-trial proceedings.
