Arrested Deputy Chief of Zhaiyl District Interior Department extorted $5,000

Deputy Head of Zhaiyl District Department of Internal Affairs extorted $ 5,000 from an inspector for a positive decision on previously registered materials in the Unified Register of Crimes and Offenses of pretrial proceedings. Press center of the State Committee for National Security reported.

"A criminal case was opened under the Article "Extortion of a bribe" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The detainee was placed in the pretrial detention center of SCNS. The investigation is underway," SCNS reported.

On April 15, officers of SCNS and the Interior Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained the Deputy Chief for Operational Work of Zhaiyl District Department of Internal Affairs.
