MP: 1terrorism case recorded in 2018 in Kyrgyzstan, based on Interior Ministry report

AKIPRESS.COM - MP Ruslan Kazakbayev asked Prosecutor General why the number of recorded terrorism cases has significantly dropped in 2018. "According to the report of the Interior Ministry, 1 case of terrorism was registered for 12 months of 2018 against 23 cases in 2017. What was the reason for such a drastic drop?" asked the lawmaker.
Deputy Head of the National Security Committee vowed to give an answer later in written form.
Deputy Interior Minister Mirlan Kanimetov, for his part, noted that more than one case was registered in 2018 and about 60 cases were sent to the National Security Committee.
152 terrorism related cases were recorded in 2018, according to Prosecutor General.
