Alternative SDPK submits documents to Ministry of Justice for re-registration

Alternative SDPK under the leadership of Sagynbek Abdyrakhmanov submitted documents for re-registration to the Ministry of Justice. Secretariat of the political organization told 24.kg news agency.

Official representative of the Social Democratic Party, chaired by Almazbek Atambayev, Kunduz Zholdubaeva noted that if the Ministry of Justice registers the alternative party, the SDPK will go to court.
"The party of Sagynbek Abdyrakhmanov is illegitimate and cannot be registered by the Ministry of Justice. This is illegal," she added.
Recall, two congresses of the Social Democrats were held in Bishkek on April 3 and April 6. Each party insists on its legitimacy. Experts remind: there cannot be two political organizations with the same name in the country.
